Welcome to all of our new little friends! We are so excited to meet you. On our blog you will be able to see some pictures of our days together and some information about our room. There is a link to our classroom wish list if you would like to make a classroom donation. We always appreciate any extra donations made especially wipes and tissues! In the infant starter packet there is a parent questionnaire, please fill out and turn in prior to your child's first day. This information gives us a better idea of how to best care for your child and help them acclimate to a daycare setting.
Here is a checklist for items to bring on the first day:
Diapers
Diaper Cream (Tube Preferred)
Pacifier & Strap (That is to remain at daycare)
Bottles (Labeled with full first and last name and date)
Wipes
Extra pair of clothes ( 2 sets)
Family Photo
Medication (with medication slip filled out)
Make sure to Label everything that belongs to your child which includes but is not limited to:
Car Seats
Clothing/Shoes
Outdoor gear
Pacifier/Strap
Lovies
Please refrain from bringing toys from home. A comfort item is encouraged but we have plenty of toys for your child to have here at school.
Bottles need to be prepared prior to care for the day. Please bring in bottles capped and labeled with full first name and last name. Please bring a bottle bag that is separate from diaper bag. If your child is under 5 months we are required by licensing to have at least 20oz of breastmilk or formula to have on hand to serve. If your child is 6 months and up that number moves down to 16oz. We are not allowed to give children under the age of 1 any water due to licensing regulations. Food program does provide Meijer brand iron fortified formula, if you would like to use any let Ms. Asia know.
We do provide infant cereal, purees, and snacks. If would like to bring your own food for your child please label with your child's name in a sealed container.
